Build your mod. New creatures, systems, mechanics - anything goes.

Upload to CurseForge

Publish your mod on CurseForge and make it live for players to discover.

Submit Your Project

Register to the contest through our submission form once your project is live! Project must be live on CurseForge before submitting.

That's it!
All mods are welcome - from small tweaks to ambitious overhauls.
If it runs, swims, or terrifies - it counts.

Common Questions

Yes, in order to publish your mod, you must sign in with a CurseForge account.
You can! Modders may publish and submit as many mods as they'd like.
The contest will have 10 winners, sharing a prize pool of $3,000.
A panel of judges will select the ten best mods. The community will then vote on the finalists, with placements determined by the total number of votes received. Learn more about our process in the Terms and Conditions page.
At the end of the contest, the community will vote for their favorite mods from selected finalists through a voting form shared with the public. Check our Discord, Reddit, and socials for more details when voting opens!
Create a Subnautica 2 project, publish it on CurseForge, then fill out the official submission form with your project link and contact info.
Yes, you need to be at least 18 years old to participate and be able to claim the reward via our Reward Program.
Yes, teams are allowed to submit entries to the contest. Keep in mind that the prize will be shared with the project's owner, and it is up to them to distribute it among the other members. If you wish to find team members, make sure to join our Authors Discord to recruit others or look for teams to join!
