No, the competition is open to all countries!
Yes, in order to publish your mod, you must sign in with a CurseForge account.
You can! Modders may publish and submit as many mods as they’d like.
Minecraft ModJam 2025 will have 54 winners! You can win through one of our main categories, raffles, or as a community favorite.
Grand Winners for the main categories will receive $1,000 each.
Community Favorites will receive $2,000 each!
The contest consists of category winners, raffle winners, and community favorites. CurseForge or the community (all depending on the type of reward) will judge and select the winning mods. Learn more about our process on the Terms and Conditions page.
Once our judges select the finalists, voting will commence via a dedicated voting form published on this page and in our communities.
All submitted projects must support Minecraft version 1.20.1 or higher.
Minecraft Java mods, Datapacks, Resource Packs, and Bedrock Addons.
No, all submitted projects must be new (not published on CurseForge before the contest Start Date).
All Java mods and Datapacks submissions must contain a GitHub link or a shared private repo for judging purposes (code visibility is required).
Yes! You can submit projects for more than just one of the categories, but you can only win one Grand Prize.
