• Who can nominate?

  Anyone - players and mod authors can nominate mods and modpacks between October 26 and November 9.

• Can I nominate more than one mod or modpack?

  Yes - submit as many mods and modpacks as you want!

• What happens after I nominate?

  A jury of over 20 of the top Minecraft mod authors and content creators in the Minecraft modding space will check eligibility and select 24 finalists. Finalists will be announced ahead of the community voting phase in December.

• Why the minimum downloads rule?

  It ensures that finalists reflect broad community impact. We’ll explain this in the ToS to reduce confusion.

• Is my nomination public?

  Nomination details and votes are handled per the privacy policy. By nominating you accept the contest ToS.

• How are the finalists selected?

  The top 5 nominated mods and modpacks from the nomination phase will automatically be finalists, once confirmed as eligible by Noxus’ selected jury members. The jury will then choose their remaining preferred finalists based on selection criteria that include originality, impact on players, technical excellence, and community value.

• Who is on the jury?

  The jury is made up of over 20 of the top mod authors and content creators in the Minecraft modding space, as well as 3 CurseForge employees.

• Can mod authors have more than one mod or modpack in the finalists?

  No, an author can only have one mod or modpack chosen as a finalist.

• When will the finalists be announced?

  The 24 finalists will be announced on December 7th, and the Community Voting phase will then immediately start.

• How many times can I vote?

  You can submit the official voting form only once. However, within that single form, you must select your top three (3) favorite mods from the 15 finalists, and your top three (3) favorite modpacks from the 9 finalists.

• Does the jury also vote?

  Yes, each member of the jury will also choose their top 3 finalists. Jury votes will count for 40% of the total votes.

• Can I vote for my own mod?

  Yes! If your mod has been chosen as a finalist, feel free to vote for it.

• When are the winners announced?

  On January 3rd, in Noxus’ Award Ceremony YouTube premiere.

• What will the winners receive?

  Alongside the cash prizes listed above, the winners will also receive a dedicated showcase on the CurseForge Minecraft game page and a special banner to add to their project page. All finalists, including the winners, will also receive an official swag package!
