INZOI Modding Contest
As part of the integration of CurseForge with inZOI, CurseForge is running this contest, inviting you to create Mods on the CurseForge platform for inZOI.

The inZOI Modding Contest is a dynamic contest designed to inspire and showcase the talents of the inZOI modding community.
Below is a brief overview of the qualifications for entering and participating in the contest. Afterward, you will find the full and official rules governing the contest. Please take the time to read the official rules carefully.
TIMETABLE:
Start Date: May 13th - Participants may begin submitting their entries.
End Date: Jun 11th - The final date for participants to submit their entries.
Winners Announcement: June 23rd
SUBMISSION CATEGORIES:
The contest will be running with two main categories:
Characters: Expand what's possible in character creation! Build mods that enhance Create a Zoi with new customization options: hairstyles, outfits, facial features, makeup, and accessories. Go beyond visuals by enabling richer expression through animations, interactions, and voices. Focus on giving players more tools to create unique, expressive Zois that feel truly their own.
Builds: Shape the world around your Zois. Design and craft furniture and structures that define how players live and play. From detailed interiors to large architectural pieces: doors, walls, windows, and more. Focus on style, function, and creativity.
WINNERS AND PRIZES:
The contest consists of Grand Prizes, Mid-Contest Rewards, and Community Favorites. All prizes and rewards are based on skill. CurseForge, contest judges and the community (all depending on the type of reward) will judge and select the winning mods.
This contest includes the following prizes:
- Grand Prize Winners: $500 per winner for the Characters and Builds categories (10 total winners)
- Mid-Contest Rewards: To keep the contest interesting and reward as many authors as possible, CurseForge will hold two Mid-Contest Rewards rounds, awarding 5 creators $200 each, totaling 10 additional winners.
- Community Favorites: inZOI players are also invited to take part in the event by casting their votes for their favorite mods! Following the announcement of the finalists, the community will use a form to vote for their favorite submissions. The Community Favorites winners will be awarded $600 per winner (5 total winners).
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Sign up as a CurseForge Mod Author: https://authors.curseforge.com/welcome/
- Publish your mod on CurseForge, and make sure it complies with the contest requirements (See "Submission Requirements" below for more information).
- Fill out the submission form.
- Modders may publish and submit as many mods as they'd like.
JUDGING:
- Judges' Picks (Grand Prize Winners): A panel of judges, consisting of judges from the modding community and CurseForge, would select the mods they rated the highest among the submissions.
- Mid-Contest Rewards Winners: Creators with valid, approved entries will be chosen.
- Community Picks (Community Favorites Winners): Chosen from the finalists by community vote via a form.
The Panel of Judges will select the winners and winning creations based on 30% "Originality," which will evaluate how creative, new, and unique the mod is; 30% "Fun Factor," which will evaluate whether the mod is fun to play with; 30% "Aesthetics," which will evaluate whether the mod is "eye-catching"; and 10% "Downloads," which will determine the number of downloads the mod has accumulated until the time of judging. Authors cannot win more than once in the same judging category.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- You can only submit new projects that were created after the contest launched (May 13th).
- You need to have a CurseForge Author Account and accept the terms and conditions.
- You will need to review, approve, and comply with the Official Contest Rules attached below.
- All submitted creations must adhere to CurseForge Moderation Policies and inZOI's Specific Moderation Policies. This includes restrictions on the use of protected intellectual property, prohibitions on nudity, etc.
- Don't publish duplicated mods, and don't publish other people's work as your own. Prioritize publishing creations that add value to the player community.
- Note that all mods submitted to CurseForge undergo a moderation process, which could lead to a delay of a few days from submission to publication.
- When publishing your creations, ensure they are accurately categorized.
- Failure to meet any of the requirements set forth below in the official rules may lead to disqualification of your submission or revocation of any winnings.
inZOI Modding Contest OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
This inZOI Modding Contest ("Contest" or " Promotion," as applicable) is sponsored and operated solely by Overwolf Ltd., including its affiliates, subsidiaries, and respective employees, officers, and directors (collectively "Sponsor")
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE OR A PAYMENT OF ANY KIND DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
This Contest is subject to all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Participation in the Contest constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to these official rules (the "Rules") as well as the CurseForge Mod Author Terms and Conditions, available at: https://legal.overwolf.com/docs/curseforge/mod-authors-terms (the "CurseForge Mod Author Terms"), which are accepted upon creation of a CurseForge account.
Any Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning set forth in the CurseForge Mod Author Terms.
This contest is in no way sponsored or administered by KRAFTON, Inc. or any of its affiliates. Entrants are providing their information to the Sponsor.
1. ELIGIBILITY.
This Contest is open to all individuals, who: (i) have an active Mod Author Account on the CurseForge Platform or have signed up and created such an account in order to participate in the Contest (registration can be made here: https://authors.curseforge.com/welcome/); (ii) are at least 18 years old or at or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater.
Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and any agencies involved in the administration of the Contest, as well as the immediate family (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
2. RULE AND AGREEMENTS.
By participating in this Contest, you agree to comply with these Rules and all decisions made by the
Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Winning a prize is subject to continued
compliance with:
(i) these Official Rules,
(ii) the CurseForge Mod Author Terms,
(iii) the CurseForge Moderation Policies, and
(iv) any applicable Community Guidelines on the CurseForge platform
(collectively, the "Rules and Agreements").
All submitted Mods will be reviewed for compliance with the above. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Mod, entry, or participant found in violation of these Rules and Agreements. The Sponsor may also remove any Mod submitted to the Contest and revoke any previously granted prizes if a violation is discovered.
3. PROMOTION PERIOD.
The Contest begins on May 13, 2026 and ends on June 11, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. GMT+3 (the "Submission Period").
The Mid-Contest Reward selection dates are expected to be May 26, 2026 and June 9, 2026.
The Community Favorites voting period is expected to open on or around June 16, 2026 and will close on June 22, 2026.
Sponsor expects to announce the Contest winners on or around June 23, 2026.
Sponsor's computer shall be the official clock for the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Contest if it determines that fraud, technical failures, force majeure events, or other causes beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impair the integrity, administration, security, fairness, or feasibility of the Contest.
4. HOW TO ENTER?
Submit the applicable Mods (as applicable) by using the official Contest form available here ("Form") during the Submission Period. The entry must fulfill the contest requirements, as specified above (i.e., the applicable number of mods, criteria, etc.), to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or submitted without following the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
You must fill in all the information requested in the Form, accurately and truthfully. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the Rules, your entry may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. However, there is no limitation on the number of Mods submitted, therefore, you can, under the same Account and email address, add and submit as many mods as you wish. The Mods submitted need to be different, duplicated Mods will be disqualified.
Mods submitted to CurseForge may be subject to moderation review. Entrants are responsible for allowing sufficient time for moderation and approval before applicable deadlines. Sponsor is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete submissions, technical issues, or inaccurate information submitted by entrants.
Please note: even if you submit multiple Mods, you are only eligible to win one prize of each type, see below.
5. TYPE OF PRIZES AND AWARDS.
The total prize pool for the Contest is $10,000 USD, distributed across the following prize types:
5.1. Grand Prize Winners - Judges' Selection. A panel of judges will select five (5) winning Mods in each of the following two official categories: (a) Character - hairstyles, outfits, facial features, makeup, accessories, animations, interactions, voice, and other character-focused customization or expression Mods; and (b) Build - furniture, objects, structures, interiors, doors, walls, windows, and other build-focused Mods.
There will be ten (10) Grand Prize winners in total. Each Grand Prize winner will receive $500 USD, for a total of $5,000 USD.
5.2. Mid-Contest Rewards. Sponsor will conduct two (2) Mid-Contest Reward rounds, expected to occur on or around May 26, 2026 and June 9, 2026. In each round, Sponsor will select five (5) authors with valid, approved Contest entries, based on the number, quality, originality, compliance, and overall contribution of their eligible submissions as determined by Sponsor.
There will be ten (10) Mid-Contest Reward winners in total. Each Mid-Contest Reward winner will receive $200 USD, for a total of $2,000 USD. Mid-Contest Rewards are awarded to authors, not individual projects.
5.3. Community Favorites. After finalists are selected, the inZOI community will be invited to vote for their favorite finalist Mods through an official voting form made available by the Sponsor. Sponsor will select five (5) Community Favorites winners from both categories combined, based on valid community votes and subject to Sponsor's verification and anti-fraud review.
Each Community Favorites winner will receive $600 USD, for a total of $3,000 USD.
5.4. Prize Conditions. All prize amounts are stated in U.S. dollars and are pre-tax. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, reporting obligations, fees, costs, and expenses associated with receiving or using a prize. Winners may be required to provide payment, tax, identity, and eligibility information before receiving a prize.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitution, transfer, or cash alternative is permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor may substitute a prize or prize component with a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes will be awarded only to the verified CurseForge Mod Author account holder who submitted the applicable winning entry.
Each entrant may win no more than one prize per prize type, unless Sponsor determines otherwise in its sole discretion.
6. SELECTION OF WINNERS.
6.1. Judging Panel.
A panel of judges composed of Sponsor representatives and mod community experts will evaluate all eligible
mod submissions in two categories: Character and Build. The judges will select the top 5 mods in each
category, based on the following criteria:
(a) Originality – Creativity, novelty, uniqueness of the Mod (30%)
(b) Enjoyability - the playability aspect of the Mod and its fit for the inZOI experience (30%)
(c) Aesthetics - visual aspect of the creation (30%)
(d) Popularity – will be evaluated by the number of downloads of the Mod on CurseForge at the time of
judging (10%)
Sponsors' and the judges' decisions are final and binding. However, Sponsor may disqualify any Mod after the decisions have been made if it is found to not comply with the Rules and Agreements, even if it otherwise receives high scores.
6.2. Community Vote
After the Sponsor selects the Contest finalists, the Sponsor will open a community voting form on or around June 16, 2026. The community may vote for its favorite finalist Mods through the official voting form during the voting period specified by the Sponsor.
The five (5) finalist Mods receiving the highest number of valid community votes, regardless of category, will be selected as Community Favorites winners, subject to the Sponsor's verification.
Sponsor may reject, remove, or disregard votes that Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, are fraudulent, automated, bot-generated, duplicative, manipulated, purchased, incentivized in a misleading manner, or otherwise inconsistent with the integrity of the Contest. Any attempt to manipulate voting may result in the disqualification of the relevant votes, Mod, entrant, or participant.
In the event of a tie, Sponsor may consider download numbers, engagement, judging scores, or conduct a final judging review to break the tie.
6.3. Mid-Contest Rewards. For each Mid-Contest Reward round, Sponsor will evaluate eligible authors with valid, approved Contest entries as of the applicable round's cutoff time. Sponsor will select five (5) authors per round based on the number, quality, originality, compliance, and overall contribution of their approved eligible entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Mid-Contest Rewards are awarded to authors, not individual Mods. A Mod or author that receives a Mid-Contest Reward remains eligible for Grand Prize or Community Favorites consideration, subject to the winner limitations in Section 5.4.
7. WINNERS NOTIFICATIONS.
The Sponsor will announce the Contest winners on or around June 23rd, 2026, through official CurseForge communication channels, including Discord, Twitter and the CurseForge website.
The Sponsor will attempt to notify winners using the email address associated with their CurseForge Mod Author account. Participants are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate and up to date.
Winners will be required to provide any necessary information to process prize payments, including payment and tax details, where applicable. If a winner does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, fails to provide the requested information, or is found in violation of these Rules, the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternate.
This section is only applicable to eligible entrants who qualify for a reward and have not been disqualified for attempting to circumvent the rules as determined by the Sponsor. Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via email or through the Mod Author Account on or about the end of the Submission Period. If you are eligible for a prize or reward, you will be notified, and you will then be able to redeem your prize as follows: (i) the redemption is by and through CurseForge Authors Rewards Program ("Reward Program") and is subject to the Reward Program Terms of Service; (ii) your Account will be reimbursed with points equal or higher to the amount you have won.
Where required under applicable laws, each Winner shall be solely responsible for all federal, state, and/or local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Prize or any applicable prize.
ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT THE SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN THE WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE CONTEST.
8. RIGHTS IN SUBMISSIONS & PRESET USAGE.
By submitting a mod to this Contest, you grant the Sponsor and its affiliates a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and non-exclusive license to use, display, modify (for marketing or presentation purposes only), and distribute your submitted mod(s), in whole or in part, for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes related to the inZOI game and the CurseForge platform.
If your Mod is selected as a Grand Prize or Community Favorites winner (a "Winning Mod"), you further grant both Sponsor and KRAFTON, Inc. (together, the "Licensees") a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to (a) feature the Winning Mod in official videos or promotional content, including trailers, developer diaries, livestreams, and social-media posts; (b) use screenshots, footage, or other derivatives of the Winning Mod in marketing campaigns or related materials (digital or print) that advertise inZOI, the Contest, or CurseForge.
This Licence is granted on a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free basis. Other than the non-monetary recognition rewards set out above, no additional monetary compensation or revenue share will be paid for any present or future use of the Winning Mod inside or in connection with inZOI. By participating in the Contest, entrants acknowledge and accept this compensation structure in full.
This license includes the right to use your mod and your publicly displayed Mod Author name in promotional materials, contest announcements, videos, social posts, or other forms of marketing and communication.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
The Sponsor will not be liable in case of (i) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (ii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (iv) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (v) failure of Sponsor to supply/provide the Prize or any part thereof, by any reason of any act of God, fire, natural disaster accident, or act of government, or any other cause beyond the Sponsor's sole control; (vi) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Promotion; and (vii) for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.
10. Publicity Rights.
By entering the Contest, participants consent to the use of their name, mod name, and any associated images or content for promotional purposes by the Sponsor, in any media, worldwide, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. Disqualifications & Conduct
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the submission process, violates these Rules, or engages in conduct that is abusive, offensive, or disruptive to the Contest or its community.
